We provide comprehensive support for our international patients, including interpreter services, document translation, and assistance with travel and visa arrangements. Our consultant ophthalmologists can also draw on the expertise of AOA体育平台's extensive network of specialists, allowing us to manage complex cases that span multiple specialties.
How our international team can help you
We know that travelling abroad for your eye treatment can be a big decision. As a result, the dedicated team in our international office at AOA体育平台 are on hand to help our international patients feel supported with every aspect of your visit.
For example, we can help with:
- visa applications
- travel arrangements and accommodation
- finding the right consultant (you may need to provide a medical report for our team to do this; we can translate any language the report is in on your behalf)
- booking medical appointments
- organising your admission to AOA体育平台 Eye Centre
- arranging interpreter services to assist you at your initial consultation, admission, discharge and any follow-up appointments or requirements
- liaising with your sponsor or insurance provider
- guiding you on prices and ways to pay
Follow-up care
We can manage your aftercare in person at AOA体育平台 Eye Centre for as long as you choose to stay in London following your treatment.
However, when you choose to return home, our consultants can continue to provide you with advice via email and remote consultations. Alternatively, you can be referred to a local specialist who can continue your care closer to home.
