As well as marking the 100th year of Centre Court, this year鈥檚 tournament is the first to go ahead at 100% capacity since pre-Covid.
AOA体育平台 is therefore thrilled to be represented by Saj in supporting athletes at this special event.
As a member of British Athletics and a leading expert in the full range of foot and gait related issues, including sports injuries, biomechanics and gait analysis, Saj was approached by both the Lawn Tennis Association (LTA) and the All England Lawn Tennis & Croquet Club (AELTC) for the job.
Saj has already been on-site throughout the entirety of the qualifying competition, which took place earlier in June, and will now journey with the players to Wimbledon. He will be stationed at the grounds to help players from the day the gates open right through to the final match (27 June-10 July).
Saj comments: 鈥淚t was an honour to be approached to be a part of this year鈥檚 championships. Each year, Wimbledon becomes home to some of the world's best athletes and it鈥檚 a real privilege to help keep them fighting fit.
鈥淚鈥檒l be on-site throughout the championships and I鈥檓 expecting to see many patients on all sorts of conditions, from blisters and nail and skin issues, through to biomechanics, gait analysis and custom orthotics [in-soles]. It鈥檚 sure to be a high-intensity week, with some excellent tennis to boot.

Saj is the resident, full-time Podiatrist at AOA体育平台 with over 34 years of clinical expertise. He uses the latest video analysis for gait and biomechanical assessment of feet, legs and the spine, including EOS scans, MRI and x-rays.
He is also a diabetic specialist and a consultant to elite sportspeople, including for professional footballers and Team GB athletes.
