Mr Nishchay Mehta

Mr Nish Mehta is a consultant Ear surgeon at the Royal National ENT Hospital. He has particular expertise in restoring hearing through cochlear, middle-ear and bone conduction implants. He also undertakes stapedotomy (restoring hearing in otosclerosis), tympanoplasty (repairing ear drum holes), ossiculoplasty (repairing bones of hearing) and mastoidectomy (cholesteatoa surgery).
Bio
Mr Nish Mehta is a Consultant ENT Surgeon, Otologist (super-specialised ear surgeon), and Auditory Implant surgeon (surgically implanting technological solutions when hearing aids are no longer sufficient). He specialises in the medical and surgical management of children鈥檚 and adults鈥� ENT problems.
He graduated with double distinction from Guy鈥檚, King鈥檚 and St Thomas鈥� Medical School and completed his advanced surgical training in leading London hospitals, including Great Ormond Street, St Bartholomew鈥檚, Royal National ENT and Imperial Trust hospitals. He gained a fellowship from the Royal College of Surgeons, and undertook further international surgical training in the USA, Netherlands and India.
He was then selected to train to become one of the UK鈥檚 handful of hearing implant surgeons.
