Jonathan serves as a Consultant Ophthalmic Surgeon at AOA体育平台, as well as a Consultant Ophthalmologist at Moorfields Eye Hospital NHS.

Specialising in glaucoma and cataract interventions, he is dedicated to delivering patient centred care, with careful consideration for the distinct requirements of each individual. His care and commitment to excellence has earned him recognition, including a nomination for Moorfields Eye Hospital鈥檚 Team of the Year 2023 Patient Choice Award.

A 1996 alumnus of Charing Cross and Westminster Medical School, Jonathan鈥檚 postgraduate journey included Accident and Emergency roles, before committing to ophthalmology. His career path led him through training positions in Windsor, Southampton, and London, culminating in a two-year research fellowship, earning a Doctorate in Medicine focused on wound healing response post-glaucoma surgery.

In 2010, Jonathan鈥檚 expertise was further acknowledged through his appointment as a Consultant Ophthalmologist at Moorfields Eye Hospital. He has since been appointed to prominent roles within the institution, such as Joint Divisional Director for Moorfields North and Clinical Lead for industry sponsored glaucoma trials. An active researcher, Jonathan has led numerous clinical trials as Principal Investigator, contributing to a wealth of medical journal publications.

With proficiency in contemporary cataract surgery techniques and intraocular lens selection, including extended depth lenses, Jonathan encourages patients to make informed decisions aligned with their personal health objectives. He manages all types of glaucoma cases, offering a spectrum of treatments from the latest minimally invasive techniques and SLT laser therapy to advanced procedures like trabeculectomy and Paul drainage devices.
