Mr Daniel Cohen
Daniel Cohen is a Consultant Urological Surgeon who specialises in the diagnosis and treatment of prostate and bladder problems, including Holmium Laser (HoLEP) surgery for benign prostate hypertrophy, mpMRI guided biopsies for the diagnosis of prostate cancer, and diagnosis and treatment of bladder cancer and benign bladder problems.
Bio
Daniel Cohen is a Consultant Urological Surgeon. After completing a PhD in the Division of Surgery at Imperial College London, he undertook surgical training in London and completed a fellowship in laser prostate (HoLEP) and stone surgery.
His main clinical interests are in the diagnosis and management of prostate and bladder cancers, benign prostate enlargement and bladder function disorders in men and women, in addition to a general urology practice covering stone disease, scrotal and testicular problems and urological emergencies.
Mr Cohen co-authors the bladder cancer guidelines and is an advisor to . He is a core member of the prostate and bladder multidisciplinary teams at Royal Free London NHS Foundation Trust.
Mr Cohen has published over 20 peer-reviewed papers and presented at medical and industry conferences in the UK, Europe and the USA. He was awarded a Distinction for his research by the Association of Surgical Education in the USA.
