Bio
Mr Sorene is an experienced consultant orthopaedic, hand and upper limb surgeon who specialises in arthritis and degenerative conditions, sports injuries, trauma surgeries and wrist conditions.
He holds posts at AOA体育平台, Hospital of St John & St Elizabeth, The Wellington Hospital and The Portland Hospital, and regularly travels internationally throughout Europe, the Middle East, Russia and other locations to lecture and undertake surgery.
Mr Sorene graduated with his medical degree from University College London and Middlesex School of Medicine MBBS in 1995 and completed his Trauma and Orthopaedic Surgery training in 2004.
He undertook Fellowships in hand, wrist and upper limb surgery training at the Pulvertaft Hand Centre Derby in 2004-2005 and Centre for Hand and Upper Limb Surgery Wrightington Hospital, Lancashire in 2006. In 2005 he was awarded the European Diploma in Hand Surgery (Churchill Livingstone Medal- Best Candidate). Mr Sorene was appointed as a consultant in 2006, and alongside his private practice, worked in the NHS for University College London Hospitals until 2017. Though no longer working within the NHS, Mr Sorene undertakes teaching activity, lectures and surgical demonstrations to a number of hospitals and institutions throughout the UK and abroad.
